In April 2025 Dr Philip Farah traveled to Abingdon, Va to share the experiences of Palestinian Christians with us. Born and raised in East Jerusalem, Dr. Philip Farah is a Palestinian Christian who came to the US in 1978 at the age of 27. He has lived, studied, and worked in several countries in the Middle East. A founding member of the Palestinian Christian Alliance for Peace (2012), Dr. Farah has spoken widely on Middle East peace and justice issues, and his writings have appeared in several publications. Philip has relatives in Gaza who were among the victims of Gaza’s genocidal war against the Palestinians in Gaza. He recently retired after a thirty-five year career as a public sector economist.
